Meet Trevor Baker, one of the founders and owners of Active Nutrition, currently serving as the organization CEO. Raised in the small towns of Madisonville and Clay, KY, Trevor grew up in a close-knit family. He is the son of the late Shannon & Kim Baker and Anthony & Tammy May, and the grandson of Gary and the late Joyce Daniel, Wayne & Cheryl Burton, and the late David Baker. Trevor's large, supportive family includes numerous brothers and sisters.

Trevor’s passion for the supplement industry stems from his personal weight loss journey in 2017. Weighing 280 lbs. throughout middle school, high school, and into college, he embarked on a transformative health journey, which ignited his interest in fitness and nutrition. His drive to help others inspired him, and in 2018, he and his business partner, Austin Woodruff, purchased a supplement store in Evansville, IN. After two years of success, they launched Active Nutrition & Supplements, a brand centered on helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.

Trevor's background in retail, including a senior management position at Computers Plus in Evansville, and his experience working alongside his grandfathers in their businesses, equipped him with the skills needed to navigate the competitive fitness industry. His educational background also contributed to his preparation for owning and operating a retail store.

The core values of Active Nutrition reflect Trevor’s upbringing, emphasizing family-friendly, locally owned principles. His leadership style and business ethics are guided by these values, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for customers.

In recognition of his leadership, Trevor was named one of the "20 Under 40" most influential people in the Tristate region for 2023. He is also a driving force behind the Indiana Muscle event, which Active Nutrition has proudly sponsored from 2020 through 2024, promoting fitness, competition, and community engagement​
